Embrace the Art of Living
— for individuals and couples

“Tell me, what is it you plan to do
With your one wild and precious life?”

Who we are
We are Hayley and Owen Stevens — a body psychotherapist and a process oriented facilitator, based in County Kerry, Ireland.
We refer to the work we do as the Art of Living because we believe that life is a constant process of forming, un-forming and transforming. We, each of us, are the art. The more fully we live life, the more life lives through us.
Our approach
Life has a way of forming us and fixing us. Disconnected from the ever-changing, unfolding, emerging process that is life, we find ourselves dislocated, lost to who we are and why we are here.
We live in a culture that loves to diagnose, label and fix. That loves to measure progress with checklists and milestones. But real change — the kind that lasts, the kind that frees us — doesn’t work like that.
The symptoms that trouble us most: the anxiety, the disconnection, the low hum of something not being right. These aren’t problems to be eliminated. They're signals... pathways to be followed... When we learn to listen to them rather than silence them, something shifts. The signals become signposts directing us to exactly where we need to go.
Welcome to the art of living.
Going deeper into our approach…
Getting started…
We start with what’s most present — the only place any of us can start.
The start may be a relationship in crisis. A loss that won’t lift. A body carrying more than it can hold. A life that looks fine from the outside but feels hollow within.
Sometimes it is simply a sense, long held, that there must be more than this.
What happens…
There’s no fixed plan.
We arrive with curiosity, attention and a genuine commitment to being present with whatever is brought.
We follow the signals and the process emerges and unfolds from there.
